Overall things are going fairly well. Slow and steady is the name of the game and preventing boredom is the current struggle. I have a consistent list of foods that I stick to because I know how many calories they are, how satisfying they are, and how to prepare them. I definitely need to branch out and try some new stuff though. I’m getting to that point where nothing sounds good, which if I’m not careful will lead to, “Mmm, fried potatoes and Bob Evans sausage sounds good, let’s have that.”
So my two goals for this week are to come up with some new recipes and come up with specific snacks for specific cravings (if I’m craving sweets, have _______, if I’m craving carbs, have ______ etc…). Feel free to post any favorites that have worked for you. I need some creative culinary minds. I tire of spaghetti squash.
