We just bought one of those medical scales that they use in doctor's offices (like in the picture up there). For some reason I am super excited about it. I feel like it's more accurate - even though I have no real reason to distrust my digital one.
With my renewed motivation, I have decided to change things up a little. I have combined a bunch of advice from things that I've heard people say has worked for them and am going to start implementing them. I'm going to do five days a week of sensible eating (counting calories, only whole grains, lots of fruits and vegetables and lean meats). One day a week I am going to fast. And the other day is going to be a day when I can eat what I want (within reason) and not feel guilty about it. I feel like that day of "cheating" (although it won't really be cheating since it's allowed) will keep me motivated.
I realize that this post holds no information or motivation to help you along...just thought I'd share my excitement and my plans.
Have a great weekend - I hope that next week I can be a little more profound.
